YOUTH MINISTRY MEMBER

Duties: Young people between the ages of 12 and 18 in the junior and senior high get together under the supervision of the Youth Ministry coordinator, and other volunteers to grow spiritually, socially and in service with other parish youth. Arrays of other different and special activities are provided throughout the year such as picnics, movies, amusement parks, and an "After Mass" get-together. Members of the Youth Ministry participate in fundraisings, stewardship, and volunteer programs for the parish and the Dioceses.

Time: Once a week, and occasional special activities

YOUTH GROUP HELPERS
Duties: Assist in shared leadership or facilitation in one area of Youth Ministry Program; help with the faith and personal development of young people through invitation, discussion, learning, friendship, and prayer
Time: Meets once a week during school year (2 hours) for most programs; other programs meet monthly and/or seasonally; training provided, based on need and availability
Special Skills: A love of God and young people; specific talents welcome, but not necessary

SPORT COACH
Duties: Provide guidance, experience and direction among those children and youth in the parish who are interested in developing their talents as athletes.

Time: Attend minimum of three committee meetings, practices, and occasional special activities
Special Skills: Interest in working with children, young men and women and sports

YOUTH SPECIAL ACTIVITIES HELPERS
Duties: Assist with activities to help teenagers grow spiritually, socially and with service opportunities among the parish.
Time: Attend monthly committee meetings and occasional special activities
Special Skills: Interest in working with young men and women
